7th New Zealand German Shepherd National 2008

The 2008 National is being jointly hosted by the Auckland Provincial German Shepherd Dog League and the Waikato German Shepherd Dog Club.

The 2008 national is to be held in the Waikato at the Hopu Hopu Sports Park. The park is the site of the old Army base just a few minutes north of Ngaruawahia. The date for the Show is the 18th & 19th of October 2008 ( subject to NZKC approval ).

The AGM which will be held on the 18th June, 7:30 pm onwards.

Shows for 2008

Note: These dates were taken from the NZKC website and are provisional only, as they may have changed since publication there. Check with the Club concerned for any possible changes.

 

The shows for 2008 will be put here as information comes to hand.


An Open Show on the 19th of April followed by a talk on bloodlines on the 20th.


The annual Triple Show on Queens Birthday weekend, 1 to 3 June.

  

Other Items

Club Training Night every Wednesday from 7:00 pm onwards.

NOTE: We are holding puppy classes for young pups 12 wks onwards, starting at 6:30 pm.

Obedience, agility, puppy and breed training available. Please stop in for a chart and a cup of coffee, everyone is welcome.


A club fun day on the 6th of April, entries in at 10 am, where we invite both new and old members to come along have a go at all three disciplines and share a barbeque lunch- entries are a gold coin donation.

One of the less known attributes of the German Shepherd is that of - Hospital Visitor.
